Inaugural Swissotel Invitational Golf Championship

All thanks to our CEO and Deputy CEO (Chief Entertainment Officer), the Red Team headed down to East Coast Park for our very first Golf Championship! It had to be preceded with a nice reception - a Japanese / Korean dinner. And of course, in fine Swiss hospitality tradition, we invited a fellow "Rafflesian".

It was off to Lilliputt after dinner - without Kah Lin who had to go home. We suspect it could be due to catching the channel 8 drama at 9pm rather than needing to put Shannon to bed.

We would like to think that the entire place was booked just for the Swiss-ies - it was DEAD quiet... 18 holes, 18 destinations - including the City Hall MRT station and Mount Faber! Our CEOs cleverly got us kiddy clubs to make it more "exciting", which all of us obediently "bent over" and used.

Adrian struck some really professional poses. Julian was busy Ingmar(ing) and distracting me, as usual (which explains how loooong I spent at Changi Airport)... Suneet, Jeannie and Ben were rather serious; although they didn't forget to cheat (and we've got proof!).

Finally, someone obviously thought it was a fabulous idea to take a "Guess Who's This" picture!

My Sponge Bob

The Monster has taken over my iPOD Nano! Thought this was quite a funny sight of him next to Mr Square Pants!

Star Cruise Adventure

10 May 2006 - We just had to get away and thought the most economical way was to hop on a cruise! As usual , Rena was catalystic in arranging our cruise adventure to Pulau Redang. Amidst my piles of work and getting ready for Zurich, I asked the boss for a day off to get away for a looooong weekend.

Gideon was ecstatic. When on board, he couldn't comprehend how he could actually be on a ship! It was his first holiday with Conrad, Eugene and Rena - and he surprisingly got along REALLY well with the guys! Eugene is his new-found pal since Eugene is an equally huge Star Wars fan.

Redang was beautiful but unfortunately the little monster refused to swim in the sea and so we ended up at the resort's pool. He felt like such an adult cos of his new "underwear" trunks. I guess no harm showing off (Daddy too!)...

Gideon enjoyed his cabin and the Games Room particularly. Didn't really care for the pool though.

We all had great fun - all the sun and the eating! Gideon says he wants to go on a plane, next... well, perhaps!
